Women in the Bush COVID-19 Safe Policy
The intention of Women in the Bush (WITB) COVID-Safe Policy is to make all activities safe, enjoyable, and compliant with current COVID-19 safe guidelines and any public health orders that are in place. The safety of participants, their friends and family is a vital concern for Women in the Bush. All leaders are fully vaccinated and operate within NSW health regulations.
ALL WITB EVENTS ARE COVID VAXED EVENTS
Participants need to be fully vaxed or provide a medical exemption
-
If a participant has any mild symptoms of any illness they should not participate in a WITB activity. If during or following an activity a participant feels unwell they should inform the leader, then get a COVID test and inform the leader of the result.
-
If a participant has recently come into close contact with someone who has tested positive they should not register for an activity until they have a confirmed negative COVID-19 test.
-
All women participating in Women in the Bush activities must sign the waiver document at the meeting point for an activity.
-
All participants should be appropriately immunised. (Proof of vaccination maybe requested by the leader).
-
Physical distancing should be maintained where possible.
-
Women in the Bush strongly recommends the use of hand sanitiser during activities.
-
If activities use public transport please adhere to Public Health orders.
-
Women in the Bush will review this policy periodically in light of changes in NSW Public Health Orders.
